1. Information We Collect

• Firebase user identifier (UID)
• Email address provided through Google Sign-In or Apple Sign In
• Nickname, profile photo, and profile color
• Friend code and normalized friend code for friend search
• App preferences such as language, theme, and color tone

• Diary title, content, date, place name, address, and map coordinates
• Topic icon, mood, weather, and diary group information
• Attached photos and videos, and draft data
• Friends or friend groups selected for sharing, and shared diary metadata
• Memory stamps, read status, and related shared diary activity

• Friend requests, friend relationships, friend groups, and friend display colors
• FCM token for push notifications
• Timezone and UTC offset for notification timing
• Dormant account status and dormancy request time

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate users and provide profile features
• To create, view, edit, delete, and save map-based diaries and drafts
• To provide friend codes, friend requests, friend groups, and shared diary features
• To provide read status and memory stamps for shared diaries
• To provide search, filters, total diaries, shared diaries, and memory timeline features
• To send push notifications for friend requests, accepted requests, shared diaries, memory stamps, and On This Day reminders
• To maintain user preferences such as theme, language, and color tone
• To process dormancy, reactivation, logout, and account deletion

3. Sharing and Visibility

• Diaries are private by default.
• Only diaries that users choose to share with friends or friend groups are visible to those friends.
• If a friendship is removed, previously shared diaries are hidden from both sides. If the friendship is restored, prior shared records may become visible again.
• When an account is set to dormant, friend presence, shared diaries, and memory stamps are hidden from others until reactivation.

4. Retention

• We retain user information while the user uses the Service.
• Dormancy hides account-related information from other users but does not delete the data.
• When a user deletes their account, account-related data is deleted through the deletion process.
• Information that must be retained by law may be kept for the required period and then deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell personal information. We use the following third-party services to operate the app.

6. Location Information

• Diaries store the coordinates, address, and place name selected on the map or used when creating a diary from the current location.
• Current location is used to move the map and help create a diary, but it is not stored on our servers unless saved as part of a diary.
• Location permission can be revoked at any time in device settings.

7. Push Notifications

• If notification permission is enabled, users may receive notifications for friend requests, accepted requests, shared diaries, memory stamps, and On This Day reminders.
• We may store an FCM token, timezone, and UTC offset to send and schedule notifications.
• When a user signs out, becomes dormant, or disables notification permissions, notification tokens may be deleted or no longer used.

8. Data Deletion and Account Deletion

• Users can delete their account in Profile → Account Management → Delete Account.
• Account deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account, profile, diaries, drafts, groups, friend relationships, shared data, media files, and related account data.
• Deleted data cannot be recovered.

9. User Rights

• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information
• Request restriction of processing
• Request dormancy or reactivate a dormant account
• Delete an account and request data deletion

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we will notify users by updating this page or through in-app notices.
